Not too shabby!!!

This was the best picture from our session last week. As you can see, we had to stick Kacie and Brody's hinders in the seat so they couldn't move!

Picture Day

Jordyn had her preschool pictures taken today. She was posing for the camera this morning. The girls joined my sisters three kids this afternoon for some "grandkid" pictures. WOW, was that interesting!! Ages: 5, 4, 3, 2, & 1. Lets just say we made Tera work for her money this afternoon!

Happy Haloween

The girls had a busy halloween. We started the morning getting costumes on and going to the daycare halloween party. The kids went trick-or-treating room to room and Jordys group went and got some treats from the bank and the strip mall that is near by. Bob and I then picked the girls up and we brought them to grandmas and grandpas, aunts and uncles, and cousins houses. They were beat!!!! We had fun and I am enjoying all the candy!!!!

ELMO

Kacie looked so cute in her costume. She picked Elmo out herself. What a cutie!!!!

Ariel

Jordyn had quite the time picking out her halloween costume this year. Her first costume was bought on August 24th. She saw it at the Childrens Place. It was a black cat. I made a deal with her. We could get it, but we could not take the tags off. (Reminding her that there were still 2 months until halloween. She was going to see a lot more costumes). About 2 weeks later, we were at the Childrens Place again (they have so many good deals there), she saw a princess costume. "Oh, Mom, this is what I have always wanted to be". I had her think about it and I told her the next time we went to the mall we could exchange the costumes if she really wanted to be the princess. Sure enough we exchanged it. A few days later we were at Target shopping for a birthday gift. We were in the dress-up isle. She saw this little mermaid dress. "Oh, Mom, I have always wanted to be Ariel". (Are you kidding me)!!!! So, to make a long discussion short, we got Ariel and took the tags off when we got home. No more changing our mind this year. She then says, "you know, if I see Barbie Mermaidia, that is what I have always wanted to be". I said, "that will be a great idea for next year". Holy cow, 4-year-olds!!!

Carvin' Pumpkins

Bob and Jordyn had a great time carving a pumpkin. Jordy really got into it!! Kacie could have really cared less. Jordy was the designer. "Cool pumpkins have square eyes". So square eyes it was!

Does it get anymore fun than going shopping for pictures? Jordy helped me pick out her and Kacie's outfit. I am becoming my mother (which isn't bad). Amy and I would get so upset with her when she would dress us identical. Well, look what I am doing! I think it is so cute. They wanted their nails polished like mommy--so I had fun doing that.

Little Miss Kacie had her 2 yr. pics taken the other night. We also took family pictures. Lets just say it was an interesting session. Kacie was full of energy (to put it nicely)! A Look at the Past

I have not been able to update this blog as often as I would like. My camera is broken and I have not gotten a new one yet. I was looking at pictures of the girls on my computer and thought it would be fun to post the last two years Christmas pictures. The top picture is one of my favorites. Jordy's eyes are a little red because I hadn't trialed the hair thing that I put in her hair. I maybe should have practiced first. It's one of those circle spikey stretchy deals (are you with me?). Anyway, first you stretch it around the neck (poked her a few times), then you try to get it above the ears. Well, a few of the spike things got cauhgt on her ear and she started crying (she was not impressed with me). The bottom picture was last years (2005). The girls were not very cooperative this year. Kacie would not sit still. I was so hot and sweaty after leaving this session. I am looking forward to this years pictures!

Busy Beaver Camp

Jordyn went to Busy Beaver Camp at the "Y" this summer. She had so much fun. The theme for the week was amazing animals. On the last day of camp we had a picnic at the park and all the busy beavers sang songs for us. In the picture below, Jordy is really getting into shakin' her hips. How Cute!!!

Cousins

Grandma Peggy and Grandpa Dave bought a new lake home this year. It has an awesome beach for the kids to play on. They just love it!!! In the picture above is: Emma, Kacie, Brody, Jordyn and Jackson.
