A good friend....

often comments to me that she hardly recognizes the girls when I post pics because they always look so nice and clean. Seldom does she see them NOT covered in chalk or dirt....and she sees them almost daily. Naomi, these are for you! (Click on the picture to make it bigger so you can see the layers of dirt on them).

Sand...more like dirt angels---why wouldn't they make these!

I probably could fool you and say we were on a sandy beach...however, we weren't! This is a comination of sand, gravel, dirt and maybe some of that orange stuff on baseball diamonds that I am not going to even attempt to spell. Made for two dirty girls!

Last day of school.....

Brody was such a sport when I took him for a few hours to practice taking some pics. He is 3 yrs. old and FULL of energy! We didn't spend much time outside because the wind was whippin' 90 miles/hour.

Can't believe...

I just added a Hannah Montana song to my playlist! Tonight we took the girls to the Hannah Montana movie. Pretty good show. Toward the end of the movie Miley Cyrus sings "The Climb". Jordyn was sitting on my lap singing along (how she knows the words--ya got me). She was rubbing her little fingers on my neck,looked up at me, gave me a kiss and said "I love you, Mom. This song reminds me of when you always tell me to believe in my dreams.". Yeah--she gets it! I do tell her that all the time and I hope she never forgets! I do my best to be a good mom-(some days more challenging than others). As long as they both know how much they are loved and that we are doing our best teaching right from wrong(still gotta lot of work to do)--can't ask for much more than that!
