How could I forget....

my little preschool graduate! It is amazing what she learned this school year. We are so proud! Love her so much.

Basketball Camp

Jordyn had camp last week and was super excited about it! On the last day the kids were all given DGF basketballs. She loves it!

I don't know...

but, I thiiiiiink....they are set for summer!
This is the first time that I have admitted this: I might have a problem!

Ahhhh....

Is lake season FINALLY here? Doesn't get much better than the boys fishing with the kids (and quite peaceful from where I was sitting)!

How many fish did you catch, Jordy?

Two of the cutest little girls came to visit. Olivia....

and.....
baby sister Josie!

A good friend....

often comments to me that she hardly recognizes the girls when I post pics because they always look so nice and clean. Seldom does she see them NOT covered in chalk or dirt....and she sees them almost daily. Naomi, these are for you! (Click on the picture to make it bigger so you can see the layers of dirt on them).

Sand...more like dirt angels---why wouldn't they make these!

I probably could fool you and say we were on a sandy beach...however, we weren't! This is a comination of sand, gravel, dirt and maybe some of that orange stuff on baseball diamonds that I am not going to even attempt to spell. Made for two dirty girls!

Last day of school.....

as a first grader! Love her. We are so proud!
She brought her camera to school and got some great pics of her friends.

Handsome

Brody was such a sport when I took him for a few hours to practice taking some pics. He is 3 yrs. old and FULL of energy! We didn't spend much time outside because the wind was whippin' 90 miles/hour.

Had some fun....

...after church yesterday.....at least some of us! Jordy wasn't in the mood for pics (if you couldn't tell).

Can't believe...

I just added a Hannah Montana song to my playlist! Tonight we took the girls to the Hannah Montana movie. Pretty good show. Toward the end of the movie Miley Cyrus sings "The Climb". Jordyn was sitting on my lap singing along (how she knows the words--ya got me). She was rubbing her little fingers on my neck, looked up at me, gave me a kiss and said "I love you, Mom. This song reminds me of when you always tell me to believe in my dreams.". Yeah--she gets it! I do tell her that all the time and I hope she never forgets! I do my best to be a good mom-(some days more challenging than others). As long as they both know how much they are loved and that we are doing our best teaching right from wrong(still gotta lot of work to do)--can't ask for much more than that!

Eight 7 yr. olds...

actually...went quite well. Jordy had a get together with some classmates at the Governor's Inn last weekend. We had adjoining rooms with the Friend family--so when the kids went to bed in one room--Amy, Keith, Bob,and I played pinochle and had a few adult beverages in the other---pretty slick!! Pretty sure (if I am remembering correctly) GIRLS WON! Actually, I can't get myself to lie on the blog--we didn't win but we put in a good effort.

No need to explain...

this picture is soooo Kacie. Silly!!

Flood 09

Scroll down and pause the music on the right hand side of the screen before pressing play on the video. This is a scary time for all of us. We are currently dry in Kindred; however, we have lots of friends in the Fargo/Moorhead and surrounding areas struggling to save their homes. Please keep all of us in your prayers.

Spring Fever

Kacie and I stayed home yesterday and enjoyed the beautiful day. She begged all morning to go outside and dribble (thatta girl). We found a basketball but not the pump. She didn't seem to mind that the ball was only half full of air.

Kacie said, "since it's so hot out and almost summer (it was 50 degrees), can I have an icee"? How could I resist.

What a Mess

Kacie got busted jumping in the puddles at the end of our driveway. I love spring--I am loving this nice weather--but I can't stand the huge mess! I have washed coats and snowpants 2 days in a row. Could do without that! Just an FYI: waterproof--yeah, not so much!!

Family Scrapbook Pages

I have enjoyed making this family scrapbook. I look forward to updating the album next week on my scrapbooking retreat. I also enjoy looking at my beautiful choices of hair styles I chose throughout the years.

Often wonder...

what these two would do without each other. They are the best of friends. We love them so much!!

The "new" do

She doesn't look like my little baby anymore! I will often find her looking in the mirror to make sure her hair is still short. She loves it!

Does it get much cuter...

than a hot pink cast. Jordy was a trooper for 2 weeks while this was on. I am pretty sure it didn't slow her down at all.

1st post...

on my new computer!! I am so excited for all the adventures ahead of me. I couldn't resist taking this picture. It was taken the morning before Kacie got her haircut. She is modeling my glasses!
